I am going to be straight with you. No, you cannot build muscle and lose fat at the same time, our bodies just don’t work like that. There is no huge science behind all of this, it’s purely understandable.
To build muscle you will need to bulk up. In that phase of bulking up, you will have to consume a larger amount of calories.
To lose fat you will have to do exact opposite. You will have to eat fewer calories to lose fat.
If you think that you are more than a human and you can such a thing, then you can build muscle and lose fat at the same time.
Although there are some people who can actually do such a remarkable thing. Those people are the ones that either are lucky enough to be born as a mesomorph ( people who can eat everything, do what ever they want, and still get a good-looking body ). And there are people who give thousands of dollars each month for anabolic steroids.
If you are neither one of those, you can’t do it, you can’t build muscle and lose fat at the same time.
Nothing to worry you can still get the body you have always wanted! All you have to do is get trough two phases of transformation.
Phase 1: Bulking up – This is when you are going lift heavy, eat a lot, and build muscle mass.
Phase 2: Cutting – This is when you are going to lift fewer pounds lighter and eat a fewer calories to lose fat.
The reason you will have to go trough phase two, is because no matter what you do while the bulking up you are going to gain some extra fat, our bodies work like that. To lower down the amount of fat you are going to gain, you will have to eat clean calories.
Right now, I am in a cutting phase. After 2-3 months I will start again bulking up. But don’t forget to slightly increase the calories you are taking. Don’t just jump from 2600 to 3000 calories a day. Increase them week by week.
So another myth was destroyed. If I have helped you out with something please share this article, it will help the blog to grow.
