Resting is probably one of the most important factors in the bodybuilding. Without a good rest you will most definitely fail in gaining muscle or losing fat. And it seems that there are people that do not understand this important fact, since it is the reason for 60% of the bodybuilders worldwide to fail.

First, let me explain from where does the importance of resting comes from. When you are training at the gym, you are activating the muscle to pull, push, and squeeze. After your hard workout with low reps, but high weights, you have made molecular rips in your muscle tissue. In other words you have destroyed the muscle tissue, molecularly.

As you already probably know your arms have two main muscle groups. The triceps and the biceps. Both muscle groups are important for having big arms.

But the question is, which muscle group should you concentrate more on? The answer is the triceps. Don’t get me wrong, the biceps should be trained as hard as the triceps, but you must remember that the triceps is 70% a part of your arm, the rest is your biceps. I think you are smart enough to understand that the triceps i much bigger than the biceps.

Getting a six-pack is not hard. The reason so many people have been failing at it, is because they are following the advice of the online bodybuilding gurus, that claim they have the secret formula for the best looking abs ever. The only thing those gurus are doing is filling the internet with lies and myths.

Myths like:
“Ab exercises will get you visible abs”
“Eat one apple and one orange a day”
“Do mindless cardio”

It’s sad. It’s even more sad that there are thousands of people worldwide that believe that.
Remember this from me, the only way you are going to get visible abs is if you lose body fat. When you lower down your body fat percentage to 7-8 that is when you are going to start seeing your shaped abs.

The chest muscles (pectorials) are one of the most important muscle groups from the human body. But I have noticed there are a lot of people who are struggling with their growth in that area. So I decided to create an article here at Thebodybuildingblog101.

So here is the first thing I want to talk about. The chest muscles are hard to train. Their growth won’t just happen over night. It takes months, years, until you build big pecs.

But if you train the right way, you can speed up the process. In my opinion the best exercises that will allow you to build more muscle mass in the chest are is the bench press. Now, don’t get me wrong, there are a lot of other exercises that will help you shape the chest and build mass as well, but the dumbbell and barbel bench pressing exercises are the best.

Can you build muscle and lose fat at the same time

Can you build muscle and lose fat at the same time ? This is probably one of the biggest myths ever created by the online bodybuilding gurus.

I am going to be straight with you. No, you cannot build muscle and lose fat at the same time, our bodies just don’t work like that. There is no huge science behind all of this, it’s purely understandable.

To build muscle you will need to bulk up. In that phase of bulking up, you will have to consume a larger amount of calories.
To lose fat you will have to do exact opposite. You will have to eat fewer calories to lose fat.

If you think that you are more than a human and you can such a thing, then you can build muscle and lose fat at the same time.

Although there are some people who can actually do such a remarkable thing. Those people are the ones that either are lucky enough to be born as a mesomorph ( people who can eat everything, do what ever they want, and still get a good-looking body ). And there are people who give thousands of dollars each month for anabolic steroids.

Bodybuilding motivation

This is my first article here at Thebodybuildingblog101 and I will start with the most important step to success. And that step is motivation.

Nothing was going to be possible if people did not have the motivation for it. All of the great scientists, physics, technologies, athletes, they were all going to fail if they were lacking motivation.

The best part about is that even if you fail, even if you have to start from the beginning, your motivation is going to keep you going, and going. You are continue fighting until you reach that point you want.

But first, you will have to create that motivation. Now there are a lot of ways videos, music, pictures, but the best way is your imagination. Imagine, how happy you are going to be after your success. Imagine the doors this will open for you. Imagine how your life is going change.
